CloudFlare (and some other DNS management tools) include an "on-by-default" proxying service that allows them to provide a variety of security and optimization tools for your domain.
HOWEVER, for domain verification to succeed, you will need to disable the proxy for each "A" record you've created, setting each one to "DNS Only".
