Add the staging or production domain of your choice
If you already own a domain, follow the steps here so that your domain will point to the website you just created. Otherwise, procure your domain then return to complete this step.
Optional: if you wish to launch the site on a staging domain, you may enter that here, and then change the domain from your agency dashboard once the client has reviewed and approved the staging site.
- Enter your domain name:
- Set up DNS: Create the "A" and "CNAME" records shown in the AutoLauncher in your domain registrar's DNS zone editor.
- If you are using a service that offers DNS proxying, like CloudFlare, please set the "A" record you create to "DNS Only" before proceeding.
- If you fail to create the CNAME record for the www subdomain, your site will not display if a visitor types in the 'www' before your domain name.
- Verify DNS:
- After the DNS record is created, click the "Verify" button, and our system will verify that it's correct
- Note: it may take a few minutes for the new entry to propagate. Often, this is as little as 1-5 minutes, but depending on your DNS provider, could take up to an hour.
- Finish: "Start My Website"
- Once you DNS record is verified, simply click the "Start my website" button in the bottom right to start the launch process!
